We strive to pay tribute to the origin
of Mexican food; to honor its place among all the worlds’ finest
cuisines. The women of Mexico are the greatest creators
of the recipes we use, recipes created with love for food
and family – a love we now share with our patrons. We
not only wish to bring you authentic traditional menus,
but also to keep abreast of the latest trends in Mexican
fare. Our passion, since beginning our first restaurant, Li'l
Caboose in East Northport, back in 1994 is to
bring Long Island the best Mexican cuisine - never sacrificing
time or quality. We use the freshest foods and spices.
Through the years, the people of Long
Island have been our gracious guests, and responded so
nicely to our efforts. Quietly, we have gained a
family of customers from all over Long Island, who enjoy
our food again and again, making us one of their favorite
restaurants. If you haven’t tried our food
yet, we recommend you try our signature dishes:
Chile en Nogada Molcajete Purepecha Chicken Pepian Tamales Oaxaquenos Mignon Poblano Camarones al Mojo de Ajo Mexican Paella
Try these along with other
recommendations by our chefs and serving staff.
We also feature the best (so
we have been told) Margaritas, Mojitos and Sangria.
Enjoy these with our many appetizers, and to finish off
your meal, enjoy our authentic Mexican desserts like Flan
or Tres Leches Cake among others.

. Alejandro and Salvador Gonzalez conceptualized
and designed the restaurant's decor. The murals, artwork,
and sculptured walls were painstakingly created by four
artists [John Aggnesi, Frank Cavalleria,Manuel Rivas and Jesus Gonzalez] and reflect the
owner's knowledge of Mexican history. The
result is a lush, magical, and beautiful environment that
transports diners to another place and time.
